In today’s newsletter, I want to share a simple, yet powerful message with you.
Take some to sit and think of one thing that happened in 2017 that made you happy, or that you are proud of.
You can sit with eyes closed and do this activity, or you can write it down on a piece of paper. Whichever way you decide to do it, make sure you FEEL what you’re focusing on. Come out of your mind and move into your heart.
Do this at least two more times until you have at least three occurrences in 2017 that made you happy or proud.
Here’s way this is powerful:
It will give you fuel for continuing with your goals and aligning with your joy
Too often we are focused on where we need to go, and we do not give credit to how far we have come
It will connect with your Self. Connection with Self is so important. Connection to others and life, begins with connection to ourselves. Our external life is a reflection of our internal world.
As 2017 comes to a close, take just a few minutes to honor yourself. Because once 2018 hits the calendars, it is very normal to hit the ground running, thinking of New Years Resolutions and so forth… And we do not take a moment to sit with 2017.
Make sure you sit with 2017.
And if it was not the best year for you, make sure you acknowledge the lessons you learned and the strengths you acquired – or would like to continue acquiring. Behind every darkness is light.
Make sure you sit with your light.

I wish each of you a year of rising above the norm in 2018. May you rise above the habits of the mind. May you rise towards your potential. May you rise into your Higher Self.
