With today’s video, I talk to you about how to stand out in the world of business.

We live in a world where most everyone are out to get something. Especially in the world of business, people are after the bottom line, the most sales… And that is all part of world of business.

What makes a person stand out within this world is when they go forward with a service mentality versus a sales mentality.

It does not matter where we are working… At the cash register, dealing with clients for only a few minutes at a time or we are an attorney working with clients for months, even years. Wherever we are, what matters is how we proceed forward with that client.

The mentality behind the exchange makes a big difference.

When we have a service mentality, we think, “What can I do for you?”
When we have a sales mentality, we think, “What can I get from you?”

Nobody likes to feel like a transaction. Nobody likes to feel like they are a number. And they shouldn’t be treated as a transaction or number.

Everyone has a story. Everyone has loves and dislikes. And if we look at that person and truly see how our product or our service can be of benefit to them, it will not only enhance their life, but it will enhance the longevity of our work.

It’s a shift that your clients deserve and your business deserves:

Service Mentality:

  • What can I do for you?
  • How can my work or my my product be of service for you?
  • What are your needs, and how can I meet your needs?

This makes a world of difference within the world of business.
